The whiskey is Irish, the Honey is from Georgia and the name "Toddy" has its roots in India. It appears the art of keeping cozy with a winter cocktail is a shared global experience. The earliest known reference goes back to the late 1700's so rest assured, we've had ample time to get the recipe perfected.
The Dublin Hot Toddy
- 1 1/2 oz Bushmill's Ten Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Savannah Bee Company Orange Blossom Honey
- 3/4 cup boiling water*
- 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice*
- Sliced lemon wheel*
Pour boiling water over the honey and lemon juice in your glass mug. Stir until dissolved. Add Bushmills and stir again. Float the lemon wheel on top and enjoy!
